Why is no-logs policy so important?

1. Logs can link everything back to you

While you use a Proxy service for privacy and security, some Proxy providers keep your logs on their servers. The logs might contain your real IP address, and the websites you visit. It makes your data vulnerable and creates a lot of risks. If Proxy servers are seized by authorities or handed over by data thieves, they will be able to link everything back to users, so your private information can be revealed.

2. Proxy providers can monetize your data

Selling user data to third parties is a lucrative and well-known business. Large Proxy providers have a lot of data about users, so they can sell it anytime to anyone. Who knows where your data goes to the wrong hands.

3. Logs ruin the whole idea of Virtual Private Network

When you use a Proxy you expect your data to be private. This is the basic principle of Proxy. If the provider keeps any logs, it can't be private by default because it's shared at least with a Proxy provider. Do you trust them well enough?
